Hair health is ALL about the food you eat, your gut health and the health of your hormones. 💓

If your gut health isn’t optimal, you won’t be absorbing all of the nutrients from the food you eat, causing your hair, nails, skin to suffer. If our gut health & digestion works harmoniously, our hormones are automatically supported as they have sufficient nutrients to balance and maintain the functions of our endocrine system. It all really starts in the gut so ensuring you are eating a healthy diet full of essential fatty acids to support your hormones, good quality protein, and lots and lots of vegetables, ensures you are giving your body what it needs. If you are eating all these things and still have issues, you could have some sort of imbalance in your gut. .

In the case of imbalance I recommend working with a functional doctor or a nutrition professional to determine what imbalance is happening, once the imbalance is fixed, whether you have dysbiosis, overgrowth of bacteria, parasites, yeast overgrowth, or leaky gut, once that issue is fixed & healed, your hormones will progressively start to balance out & you will see nails, hair and skin start to grow, thicken & clear up. .

Made with plant based protein to get in those amino acids first thing. You’re body requires amino acids to support healthy cells, in turn, providing healthy hair, thick hair, strong nails, glowing clear skin, and lots of energy! If you don’t have enough protein in your diet, you will see symptoms of the opposite of what I’ve just described. .

Ingredients: 📝
• 1 ripe plantain/banana ✅
• 1/2 cup oats ✅
• 1 scoop chocolate plant based protein✅
• 1/3 cup coconut/nut milk ✅
• 1/2 tsp baking powder ✅
• pinch of salt & cinnamon ✅

Blend all together and cook with coconut oil on medium/high heat. 4 minutes on each side then flip. Serve with fresh fruit and dark sugar free chocolate 😍 🍫 🍓

Homemade apple & strawberry oatmeal crumble. Simple ingredients. Easy to make. #vegan  and #glutenfree .

1 cup rolled oats (120 g)
1 cup boiling water (250 ml)
2 diced apples
1 sliced banana
Handful of fresh or frozen strawberries cut
½ cup raisins (80 g)
¼ cup oat milk (65 ml)
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground nutmeg

Preheat the oven to 180ºC or 355ºF.
Place the oats in a bowl and add boiling water (you have to cover the oats). Let stand for about 10 minutes. Then add the rest of the ingredients.
Mix well and place the oatmeal in a baking dish.
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.✅

I don’t always recommend oats for everyone. They can be inflammatory in some individuals. I cut them out of my diet for a while when I began healing but now I feel I can eat them with no problem at all, and they are also a great source of fiber with many trace minerals ✅💚 you can’t be too strict on yourself especially if you’re starting from scratch. .

Start today. Start small. Change one small habit every week, then start a new healthy habit. Ingredients: 
2 bananas
2 cups wild blueberries 
1 cup cilantro 
1 cup orange juice 
1 tsp barley grass juice powder 
1 tsp spirulina 
1 small handful of Atlantic dulse 
Optional: water to blend 
Directions: 
In a high speed blender, blend all ingredients until smooth. If a thinner consistency is desired, add up to 1 cup of water. Enjoy!
